Horses R Cool Riding School at Griffin Valley Ranch is introducing a new Volunteer Leadership Program for participants aged 13 or older.
Must be 13 or 14 years of age by July 1 of the current summer. Must have attended the Summer Horse Sense Camp for at least two years or have horse related experience (e.g 4H, Pony Club, etc) As such, an individual may participate for either one or two summers in this special program before being eligible to officially volunteer.
Attend COOL School Session. Depending on age, participate again the following year for further growth and development.
Opportunity for Outdoor Leadership is a week long overnight camp providing training, experience and skill development necessary for successful involvement as a volunteer and potential employee in the Summer Camp Program.
The fee for this program is $600 plus GST. The fee includes full participation in the week long Horse Sense Program riding and assisting the regular participants as well as five nights' accommodation, all meals (15 in total, plus snacks) hands on horse sessions after regular camp hours , classroom learning, fun, fellowship, campfires, professional photo and a special item of "Horses R Cool Riding School" apparel.
